Valdi Commentry's battery recycling activity generates a by-product rich in manganese and very low in boron. Thanks to a good relationship with former Eramet colleagues at Valdi, we have ensured a steady flow of a few thousand tons per year of a volume that was previously sold to Ferroatlantica in Spain.
We optimize the use of this material between CDK and ENK to achieve the best value and to meet our low boron SiMn and LC SiMn specifications.
