Previously, the casing delivery schedule was not shared. In case of low inventories, only a few people knew if replenishment was on its way or needed to be activated. We had an episode of low inventories requiring emergency shipment from our supplier. The people in charge of unloading the casings could not plan their schedule.
The inventory is now registered daily via the Checksheet App on tablet and an alert is sent by email below a given threshold. A new App is used on Planner and is accessible to everyone involved in planning or receiving the batches of new casing.
Since new App: no issue with inventories of casing and easier management and planning.
